Oak

There is a reason why the oak is called the queen of the trees. Oak leaf symbols are traditionally found in badges of honour, coats of arms or coins.

For centuries, it has dominated cabinetry as no other wood could. Particularly within the last years, oak wood has been experiencing another renaissance. Solid, plain and reliable: In the past, oak wood was considered a sign of wealth. Only few people could afford oak wood furniture as the tree grows way slower than other trees. This makes its veneer especially valuable.
