Companies that produce up-to-date doors for every housing ambience have to keep up with technical development as well. In 2008, GRAUTHOFF set another milestone in the production white and also coloured doors in compliance with latest technical and ecological standards with their exclusive varnishing alley.

But this cannot replace varnishing craftsmanship. Manual labour is, still, an irreplaceable guarantor of our door models’ high quality. Modern technology and traditional crafts assemble uniquely here. Our production site allows for all-round varnishing any door in standard or customized size to achieve a brilliant result. Also the door edge is varnished in the same operation. Between the overall six varnishing procedures, the single varnish layers are dried, hardened, and the grooves and coffers are manually polished. The door is, thus, tried, tested and passed by a master craftsman. We do not use but sustainable, water-based varnishes and care for a recycling of excess varnish, which we do not dispose of, but reuse in our production cycle.
Of course, we use the varnishing alley for other colours, too, and remain flexible in creating perfect surfaces.
